Crisis on Infinite Earths is just a few weeks away and we are getting the first look at what’s in store. The CW released the first photos from hour two of the Crisis. During the Batwoman episode, Bruce Wayne (Kevin Conroy) from the future returns to Gotham.
It appears that this is the episode that other versions of Superman also arrive to join the team. We get the first look of Tom Welling returning as Smallville’s Clark Kent and Brandon Routh suiting up as Clark and Superman for the first time since 2006. If you recall, Crisis on Infinite Earths will merge the different Earths so there could be multiple versions of the superheroes running around. Luckily, we get multiple versions of Superman.
Another interesting and exciting photo is of Lois Lane and Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) working together during the Crisis. I’ve been waiting for this moment since Elseworlds! It’s good to see Iris using her talents to contribute to the crossover. And Lois is so legendary! Just add Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) and you’ve got the smartest reporters in the Crisis on your team!
Crisis on Infinite Earths is shaping up to be “the most ambitious crossover” on television. It all starts on Supergirl on Sunday December 8. The crossover continues on Batwoman on Monday, December 9. Followed by The Flash on Tuesday, December 10. And concludes on Tuesday, January 14 with Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Check out more photos below.
