Fans of Legends of Tomorrow are going to be facing a lot more of the Darhk. Puns aside, according to Deadline, actress Courtney Ford has been upped from recurring character to series regular for the fourth season for the time-traveling superhero show. The daughter of Arrow villain Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) will (possibly) be up to a lot more trouble for our heroes.
Nora Darhk has gone through quite the change over her appearance in the Arrowverse. As a child she was sweet and caring, loving her parents. But after their murder, she had taken on their worse traits, being cold and arrogant, even becoming cruel. All of that turned worse when she became a vessel and follower of Malice (or Mallus, depending on if you’re teasing him), a primordial time demon. Luckily for her and for the Legends team, she was able to break free of the possession when the demon was defeated.

What will be in store for Nora? Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) has always been soft on her, even checking on her well being on more than one occasion. Plus it helps that Ford is married to Routh so chemistry between them will always be there. Maybe they’ll try to bring her into the group with, more than likely, disasterous results. But as Ray told her, she has a chance to make herself better than her parents. She always strived to be like them but she can and is better than that. She has a chance to make her life better and crime free. The biggest question is – will she do it? We’ll have to wait and see when season 4 airs this fall.
