Community is coming back this Fall with 13 episodes however, Community is not coming back to primetime, the new 13 episodes are coming to Yahoo.
The cult favorite was cancelled last month by NBC and obviously, it didn’t take long for it to be scooped up by another outlet. Word on the street is that there was actually a bidding war and Yahoo won.
Dan Harmon, creator of Community, is coming back as executive producer and in his trademark style, he had this to say:
“I am very pleased that Community will be returning for its predestined sixth season on Yahoo. I look forward to bringing our beloved NBC sitcom to a larger audience by moving it online. I vow to dominate our new competition. Rest easy, Big Bang Theory. Look out, Bang Bus!”
