So, in case you haven’t heard the good news, it appears that actor Colton Haynes will be reprising his role as Roy Harper, Arsenal, on CW’s hit DC Comics-based series, Arrow, sometime in the second half of the season.
This news first came a couple days ago with Haynes tweeted out that he was on set to film.

However, this is not necessarily confirmation, so the good folks at Entertainment Weekly confirmed for the rest of us.
There are no details on the episode itself or how Roy Harper is pulled back in to the story, but we do know what EP Marc Guggenheim had to say about it.
“We are beyond thrilled that Colton will be returning to Arrow this season. It was always our intention to have him return following his departure last season, but it was a matter of finding the right story line to pull it off. That opportunity presented itself in episode 412 and we can’t wait for the fans to see this reunion.”
In case you don’t remember Roy Harper’s story in Season Three, he took the fall for the Arrow so that Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) could make a run for it and continue defending his city. While in prison, his death was faked and he disappeared, leaving his red suit behind for Thea Queen (Willa Holland), his ex-girlfriend, to take up his position fighting alongside Oliver.
