The fight for the soul of the Valley begins. On Wednesday, Netflix unveiled a slew of new character posters for Cobra Kai ahead of the mega-popular series’ fourth season!
There are 10 posters total — one for each central cast member involved with karate (Sorry, Courtney Henggeler and Vanessa Rubio). Even good ol’ Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) gets his time to shine.
Season Four finds our decades-long rivals, Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny (William Zabka), reluctantly joining forces to defeat John Kreese (Martin Kove) and Cobra Kai at the All-Valley Karate Tournament. Whoever rises victorious at the tournament will have free rein to run their respective dojo in the Valley. Unfortunately, the loser must pack it in and relinquish their sensei card.
Kreese has an ace up his sleeve: fellow army vet and Cobra Kai originator Terry Silver, who he lures back into the dojo.

Of course, combining Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang Karate will be no easy task, especially considering the vast differences between Daniel and Johnny’s techniques. That and Silver’s dark past regarding Daniel will undoubtedly throw a wrench in the proceedings.
After the big showdown at the LaRusso residence in the Season Three finale, there’s also going to be tension brewing between the karate-obsessed teens. But will they mend fences with their words or their fists? It’s Cobra Kai, so it’s 100 percent the latter.
Cobra Kai stars Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, Jacob Bertrand, Vanessa Rubio, Thomas Ian Griffith, Gianni DeCenzo and Martin Kove. Brace yourself for more karate and ’80s campiness when the series returns on Friday, December 31, on Netflix.
