The Winchesters are lost and it’s up to the Wayward Sisters to find them on the next Supernatural. Sam and Dean are on an alternate world. What kind of danger are they in? First, let’s recap how we got here.
Season thirteen left off where twelve ended. Jack (Alexander Calvert) was born, Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) killed Castiel (Misha Collins) and Crowley (Mark Sheppard), and then disappeared into the Apocalypse World with Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith).
Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) found Jack and decided to keep a close eye on him. Dean blamed Jack for losing his loved ones. He is sure that Jack will turn evil. Sam on the other hand thinks they can teach Jack to use his powers for good.
Jack inadvertently brought Castiel back from Angel death and Lucifer found a way back to Earth, but had lost some of his powers. Jack left the bunker in search of a way to find Mary. Castiel left to track down Jack and found Lucifer instead. The demons caught Lucifer and Castiel and will use them as bait for Jack. He found a way to see Mary, through dreamwalking. He also found a dreamwalker, Kaia Nieves (Yadira Guevara-Prip) who has an issue with a being in another dimension.

Angels trapped the Winchesters, Jack and Kaia on an abandoned ship. Kaia opened a portal to the Apocalypse World. Jack woke up next to Mary’s cell in the Apocalypse World. The Winchesters woke up…somewhere else.
That’s where the Wayward Sisters come in. Patience Turner (Clark Backo), the psychic granddaughter of Missouri Moseley (Loretta Devine), had a vision about Sam and Dean and ran to Sherriff Jody Mills (Kim Rhodes) to warn her. And this is where the next episode will pick up.
Claire Novak (Kathryn Newton) voices the extended trailer. She explains the world that they live in and how the Winchesters have helped people. Along with some clips of past episodes, the trailer shows Jody and Donna Hanscum (Briana Buckmaster) fighting off something and Claire jumping into action. The Winchesters are on another world and are in more danger that ever before. Sam and Dean saved Claire a couple of times. Now they are missing and it’s her turn to save Sam and Dean.

Alternate worlds huh? I wonder if we’ll get to see Bobby again. He’s in the Apocalypse world. It’s always great to see Bobby. This looks like a great introduction to the new show, Wayward Sisters. Supernatural fans already know Jody, Donna, Claire and Alex Jones (Katherine Ramdeen). Adding Patience and Kaia gives the team more supernatural abilities that will help with their hunting expeditions. This episode of Supernatural is considered the Pilot episode for Wayward Sisters. Check out the extended trailer below.
When Sam and Dean go missing Jody Mills calls Claire Novak, the rebellious rogue hunter, and tells her it is time to come home – they need to find the Winchesters. Claire returns and reunites with Alex Jones, who has stayed behind with Jody and tries to balance a “normal” life with being a part time hunter. While Jody is happy to have Claire home again, she is plagued by Patience’s disturbing vision involving her adopted daughter. Claire and Alex search for Kaia Nieves, the dreamcatcher responsible for opening the rift that Sam and Dean went through, as she holds the key to their whereabouts. Jody calls her friend Donna Hanscum to round out the team and the women head off on the most important hunt of their lives
