Last weekend, at the Tribeca Film Festival, Chris Rock sat down with J.J. Abrams and talked for a little over an hour about a number of various things, how he got started to of course, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Although it’s an hour it is worth watching! It’s funny and entertaining, but at the same time, if you’re an actor or a filmmaker, they have some very valid and hopeful things to say. It’s encouraging to hear these two talk about their careers and how to behave while on this journey.
J.J. Abrams has had quite the career and I didn’t realize or somehow forgot some of the amazing things he’s touched, starting with the film Regarding Henry, to television classics Felicity, Alias, and Fringe. I also enjoyed the fact that he seems like a grounded and kind man. If you’re reading this, J.J., please hire me. I have my own Chewbacca costume.
