Out of the Wrap, we’ve all just got one step closer to seeing Channing Tatum don the brown coat and purple explosive cards of the x-man known as Gambit, one of the world’s more beloved mutants (which makes sense since he has the low-level telepathic power of hypnotic charm).
The character of Gambit made his first appearance in Uncanny X-Men #266. As well as that low-level hypnotic charm, Gambit also has the mutant power to turn any inanimate object into a bomb by converting it’s potential energy into explosive kinetic energy simply by touching it.
Fox is currently slating the film, simply titled Gambit, to come out on October 7th, 2016.
