The end of a year long lack of Agent Carter is nigh as, next Tuesday the two-hour premiere for the second season that will see Hayley Atwell return to the titular role along with her partner-in-crime, Edwin Jarvis, played by James D’Arcy.
But, airing in the hour before Agent Carter will be a 75th Anniversary Special taking a look back at the long history of Captain America, from 1941 to now. It will feature interviews from the MCU’s very own Sentinel of Liberty, Chris Evans, as well as Ms. Attwell, and some of the comic book creators that have worked on him over the years, such as Stan Lee and Jeph Loeb.
The synopsis for the hour-long special is below.
Captain America: 75 Heroic Years is a one-hour special event that follows the history of Captain America from 1941 to present and explores how the character has been a reflection of the changing times and the world he has existed in throughout the years. The special will feature Marvel stars like Stan Lee, Joe Quesada, Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Jeph Loeb, Louis D’Esposito, Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell, as well as family members of Cap’s creators, Joe Simon and Jack Kirby.
