Cats Hidden in Christmas
Cats Hidden in Christmas is a hidden object game by Travellin Cats, the developers behind our favorite hidden cat games. In it, you must find 100 cats hidden in a festive, hand-drawn scene. Can you find them all?
The Basics
Cats Hidden in Christmas is a relaxing hidden objects game in which players will hunt felines through a hand-drawn Christmas village. It reminds me of 100 Hidden Frogs regarding the play style and time needed to complete the puzzle. The cats will turn blue as you click to uncover them, and each achievement will pop up with the name of the found feline. Some of the names are holiday-themed, as expected, but in true cat fashion, others are a little out there, adding more humor to the experience.

The gameplay is as simple as point and click, but there are a few tips to remember when starting. The most important thing to know is that you can zoom in. I strained my eyes, trying to peep all the kitties hiding around the city for nothing before I found this out. My computer monitor is a touch screen, so I just pinched the screen to zoom in, but if you are using a mouse, the trackball is the way to go. Also, don’t be afraid to click around to other interactive items. False clicks are not penalized, so there’s no punishment for exploration.
Why Should I Play?
Why should you play Cats Hidden in Christmas? Whether you have a packed holiday season or just need something to tide you over until the games on your list come in, this is a perfect pick. Playtime for this series was low, and this map took under 15 mins to finish completely. The gameplay is accessible with point-and-click mechanics for gamers of all skill sets. I play these games with my youngest, and we love learning all the unique names of the cats and their musical meows as we uncover their hiding spaces.
If you are ready to play Cats Hidden in Christmas, then you can find it for free on Steam via PC.
