Netflix took to Twitter today to share some pretty exciting news. The original animated series Castlevania has been renewed for a fourth season. The dark medieval fantasy is based on the popular video games of the same name. The first three seasons have been a whirlwind of action, mystery, and downright gore. Which is why I absolutely loved it.
***Some spoilers ahead***
The first two seasons of Castlevania dealt with Dracula (Graham McTavish) and his war against humanity after the murder of his wife. He met his end at the hands of his son Alucard (James Callis), Trevor Belmont (Richard Armitage) and Sypha Belnades (Alejandra Reynoso). However, his death wasn’t the end to terror the world expected. Season three opens up a lot of doors to what could possibly happen next in the series. If they are following the same pattern from seasons one and two, we can expect season four to draw all of the characters together again for another large battle.
We don’t yet know what season four of Castlevania will entail or when the season will actually be released. If you are not caught up on the series, I recommend using this time to do so! All three seasons are available to stream through Netflix.
