Well this is rather impressive. According to Digital Spy, the Netflix animated series based on the popular action-adventure game has earned a third season. That’s right. Before the second season even airs, Castlevania is already working on a third season. 

The show first aired on Netflix with only 4 episodes in the summer of last year. It left such a deep impression that the second season was doubled, set to air sometime this summer with 8 episodes. Well, the streaming giant seems to have incredible faith in the project as they renewed it yet again even before airing the second season. Richard Armitage, who voices the character Trevor Belmont, told Digital Spy the good news that they were already recording for the third.

This is fantastic news for fans of the vampire-centric anime. It’s still unknown when the second season will air let alone when a third one will come to fruition. But we can’t help but be excited at seeing more from Belmont, Alucard, and Sypha Belnades.
