If you’re already excited for the CW’s Second Season of The Flash to begin on October 6th, it’s time for you to get even more excited!
Today marks the first day of filming for actor Casper Crump. Why is this significant? Because Mr. Crump is playing the iconic Justice League super villain Vandal Savage. Savage is an immortal man with unnatural strength, intelligence and resources that has existed, pretty much, since the dawn of humanity.
He is ruthless in his desire to see humanity bend its knees to his power. He ends up being the big bad for the mid-season series, Legends of Tomorrow, which will see The Atom, White Canary, Captain Cold, Heatwave, Firestorm, Hawkman and Hawkgirl all team up with the time traveler Rip Hunter to take him on.
All that to say, Mr. Crump’s presence on set is the start of something that will no doubt be epic.
