Here’s a little #TBT of Carrie Fisher promoting The Empire Strikes Back and dammit, how I love her sarcasm, even then.
Journalist are taken to task, quite often, in present day thanks to movements from Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls, the hashtag #askhermore, but that was not the case, evidently, in 1978.
The interview makes me a little sad because of the questions about her weight, and we now know how much Fisher was pressured to get a skinny as possible. But otherwise I appreciate her quiet jabs.
