Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds were laid to rest in a private ceremony in January. However, their remaining family has decided to do something for the public as well. While being called “belated”, an announcement was made by Reynolds’ son, Todd Fisher, as well as a message up on her official website.

The public memorial will be held on March 25th at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills where they are buried. There is a 1,200 seated stadium there to hold attendees for the sendoff they have planned. James Blunt, a close friend of Fisher, will be debuting a tribute song. In addition, the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles is set to perform along with a dance tribute from the Debbie Reynolds’ dance school. Costumes and memorabilia will be on display at the memorial. Billie Lourd, Carrie Fisher’s daughter, will be attending but will not be making any speeches.

Fans who cannot attend are in luck. The memorial will be live streamed on Debbie Reynolds’ own website. The livestream is set to start at 1pm PST on March 25th. Join us in watching what is set to be a beautiful sendoff!
