If you’ve ever wondered if Chris Evans is a good guy, here’s proof of it. Earlier this week, the Captain America star paid a visit to a nine-year old fan named Kenny Botting who is battling cancer and, in fact, underwent brain surgery back in September. He’s staying in Boston, at a home away from home for kids fighting cancer called Christopher’s Haven with his mom and sister as he recovers.
Evans took pictures, brought gifts for Kenny and even allowed the little fan to tie him up. Evans, who is from Massachusetts himself, is in town for a fundraising event at Fenway Park. As he says in the news clip, “It’s their strength that gives me strength. No matter what hurdles are in my life it’s nothing compared to what these families go through, so any way I can bring a smile it’s worth it,” Evans said.
