You are a pain in the ass in every time period.
After an exceptional Season 1, 12 Monkeys comes back to Syfy on April 18th for its sophomore season. In this trailer, we see that the whole group is crossing paths, at times working together and at times, not. Railly is now time traveling and it looks like Cole found a way to time travel again as well.
Season 2 sets the saviors and destroyers of Earth in a time-hopping adventure. The new trailer has a fun soundtrack and stylized shots from different past eras all while Cole, Railly, Jennifer, Jones, Ramses and The Army of the 12 Monkeys play with time like a child pulling taffy. And yes! That was Brendan Coyle who plays Bates on Downton Abbey, making an appearance in the trailer.
Good fun. If you haven’t seen Season 1, then give yourself a gift and check it out. Syfy’s 12 Monkeys is a terrific adaptation of Terry Gilliam’s 1995 film that will not disappoint.
Based on the 1995 film directed by Terry Gilliam, “12 Monkeys” follows the journey of a time traveler from the post-apocalyptic future who is on a mission to eradicate the source of a deadly plague. The series stars Aaron Stanford, Amanda Schull, Noah Bean, and Kirk Acevedo. Additional cast members include Tom Noonan as the enigmatic face of the Army of the 12 Monkeys, and Emily Hampshire as Jennifer Goines, a dangerous and unstable mental patient.
