Fellow members of the ton, March is here! That means we have a little over three weeks until Shonda RhimesBridgerton returns to Netflix for season two. And today, the minds behind the hit series have gifted us another look with seven new posters. Seven magnificent posters that give us a glimpse into the summer party of the year that is going to change everything. The second series brings Julia Quinn‘s second novel, The Viscount Who Loved Me, to life as we watch the head of the family, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), find his perfect wife.

We have had small glimpses into season two of Bridgerton throughout the last few months, including a teaser trailer, a short scene filled with banter and first look images. Where the first season saw Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon (Regé-Jean Page) go from fake dating to head over heels burning, this one is vastly different. Anthony isn’t looking for true love. After everything between him and Siena (Sabrina Bartlett) in season one, we doubt he even believes in it. His goal is to find the perfect woman to be his Viscountess.

But with the return of the Sharma family, things are about to get well out of hand. When Anthony sets his sights on Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran), he doesn’t expect to get pushback from her older sister Kate (Simone Ashley). I hold all banter in books and movies up against the banter between Anthony and Kate in The Viscount Who Loved Me. And from what we have seen so far, the screen adaptation is knocking things out of the park. But that isn’t all we have to be excited for in season two!

Like season one, Netflix and Shondaland aren’t afraid to shake things up. We have so many different plot lines to contend with, including Penelope’s (Nicola Coughlan) role as Lady Whistledown (voiced by Julie Andrews), Eloise’s (Claudia Jessie) introduction to society and so much more. Plus, I suspect that we are going to be getting a bigger build-up into Benedict’s (Luke Thompson) and Colin’s (Luke Newton) stories since they will be the main protagonists of seasons three and four as long as Netflix continues to follow the books.

Bridgerton season two waltzes onto Netflix starting March 25, 2022. I’ve dropped the new posters down below. Bask in all their glory and peep who happens to be holding the black mallet of death. Are you as excited as we are for season two? Let us know in the comments below and on social media!
