The Netflix fan expo event Tudum is just heating up and hour one came to a close with a look at the upcoming season of Bridgerton. Based on the best-selling novels from Julia Quinn, this second season pulls straight from the pages of The Viscount Who Loved Me. The spotlight is on the oldest Bridgerton, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and newcomer Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley). But we know that the journey is really what we are after. How will these two fall in love?

Bailey and Ashley were joined onstage by Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Feathington) and Charithra Chandran (Edwina Sharma). They chatted about how excited they are for the upcoming season and what it was like to be a part of this global phenomenon. Ashley and Chandran opened up a bit about how the Sharma family feels coming into season two and how they feel like outsiders next to the Bridgertons and Featheringtons. Plus, we have quite a bit of arguing between Bailey and Sharma’s characters.

And to tie everything together with a first look at season two of Bridgerton and let’s just say the way they banter back and forth is worthy of the series. The clip is over before it even begins but really highlights the type of romance we can expect to see in season two. Anthony has a strict set of requirements for his Viscountess and Kate just so happens to think he might think too highly of himself. Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and I can’t wait to see how this plays out.

We’ve included the Bridgerton clip below for you to enjoy. And reenjoy. And I won’t judge how many times you watch it. The second season is set to drop in 2022, so we still have a bit of time. This means it’s time to rebinge season one! If you need an update, you can always check out our recaps as well!
