Today’s Clever Torch has been handed to XVP Comedy, a group of Chicago filmmakers who posed the question: Would if Star Wars were your ex-girlfriend? The video is set up like a Rom Com trailer with ‘Star Wars’ as ‘the girl who had it all, but she was missing one thing… her Fanboy.’
Fanboy loved her but Star Wars broke his heart “three times in six years.” He hasn’t seen her since 2005 – a horrible year. Yes, they’re talking about the Prequel Trilogy but the Prequel-sensitive will still appreciate the keen humor. There are so many hilarious lines in this video that all Star Wars fan will appreciate the piece. I mean the frakking J.J. Abrams’ bit….I can’t even.
