If there’s one thing that Supernatural has been missing, it’s Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver). It’s a good thing Bobby comes back to help in the next episode, “Good Intentions.”

So this season started with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) losing Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith) and Castiel (Misha Collins). They gained an ally in Jack (Alexander Calvert), but Dean had a hard time learning to trust him. They got Cas back and the boys found out that Mary is alive. That’s the good news. The bad news, she was pulled into an Apocalypse world and captured by Archangel Michael (Christian Keyes) with Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino).
Lucifer is back in the real world, but without his powers. The fourth prince of Hell, Asmodeus (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) took over Hell and actually held Lucifer and Cas prisoner. They were able to escape and Lucifer went on an angel killing spree trying to get his powers back. He found a friend in Aniel (Danneel Ackles), a fallen angel who wanted a better job in Heaven. The two made a deal with the angels. They make Lucifer their leader in Heaven and he will make more angels for them.
Sam and Dean are working with Donatello (Keith Szarabajka) to find a way to get to the Apocalypse world. They don’t know that Asmodeus has put some kind of spell on Donatello. Oh and Asmodeus also sent Arthur Ketch (David Hayden-Jones) to kill Lucifer. Arthur is no match for the Winchesters. So Asmodeus is sending Archangel Gabriel (Richard Speight Jr.) to finish the job.
As for Mary, Jack found a way to get to the Apocalypse World. He was able to transport there and is with Mary now. So that’s where Bobby comes in. Last season, Sam and Dean paid a short visit to this Apocalypse World where Bobby is alive. Can Mary and Jack find Bobby? And will he help them if they do?

Jack and Mary escape Michael’s clutches and end up finding an ally in Bobby Singer; Sam, Dean, and Castiel continue to search for a way to open a breach; one of their own may be working against them and costing them precious time.
