We knew it was coming and now it’s been announced: BlizzCon is coming back for its 11th year, November 3-4, 2017.

The 2-day celebration of all things Blizzard Entertainment, will take place once again at the newly expanded Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Tickets for the event will cost $199 per person and will go on sale Wednesday, April 5 at 7:00pm PST and Saturday, April 8 at 10:00am PST through the online ticketing service, Universe.

This year, attendees will be able to meet and talk with Blizzard developers and learn more about upcoming features and game content. The event also includes:

  • A chance to play the very latest in Blizzard Entertainment games
  • World-class eSports competition in Overwatch®, StarCraft® II, Hearthstone®, Heroes of the Storm®, and World of Warcraft®
  • Epic community contests with exciting prizes
  • Panels and Q&A sessions with Blizzard developers and artists
  • Exclusive BlizzCon souvenirs and merchandise

“BlizzCon will be here again before we know it, and we’re looking forward to catching up with the community, taking in the awesome esports action, and showing everyone what we’ve been working on,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We’re already hard at work making this year’s show an unforgettable experience—we can’t wait to see everyone there.”

And if you want to give a little something back, you can purchase a ticket for the pre-BlizzCon dinner on November 2nd which benefits the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.  This dinner gives attendees the opportunity to spend time with Blizzard developers, artists, and community representatives in a smaller setting. A limited number of tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, April 12th at 7:00pm for $750 each. This also includes the cost of BlizzCon admission.

If you’re unable to make it to BlizzCon this year, you can purchase a Virtual Ticket which gives you access to all BlizzCon events, panels, contests, the closing ceremony concert and exclusive interviews.  More information such as pricing, availability and program information will be provided at a later date.

As one who has attended all 10 BlizzCons, I have to say, this is an amazingly fun event. What started as a small celebration of 8,000 gamers in 2005 has turned into a massive Blizzard party. If you have a love of all the Blizzard games or even just one, then this is the event for you.

More BlizzCon updates will be available as they are announced.
