Blizzard Entertainment is no stranger to books, with novels, comics, art books, cookbooks, and more spanning most of their properties; Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft, and Overwatch in the future. Now they are no longer out sourcing to other companies but have created their own label, Blizzard Publishing.
Blizzard Publishing will develop and release new and out-of-print material with many upcoming releases available in multiple formats such as print, audiobook, and e-book. The first wave of releases include the Warcraft Adult Coloring Book as well as a few out of print titles. The coloring book includes 80 pieces of concept art, sketches, and more, featuring characters and scenes from the long running franchise. The first round of novel resurrections also come from the popular game.

If you couldn’t tell by the coloring book, Blizzard isn’t going to stop with just novel fare. Currently there are plans in place to release a series of full-color art books starting with Art of Hearthstone and Cinematic Art of Starcraft, I’m sure Diablo, Warcraft, Overwatch, and probably Heroes of the Storm are also in motion. In addition to the coffee table book, there will be additional novel and manga reissues, as well as new material, in 2017 and beyond.
