Marvel fans, it’s a happy Monday, indeed! The entertainment juggernaut hath blessed us on this day with six new character posters for Black Widow! We’re just shy of two months away from Black Widow‘s release. It still feels like an eternity given how many setbacks this flick has endured. However, these posters help alleviate some of the pain associated with the long wait.
Now, said posters include our main six characters save Ray Winstone. There’s Scarlett Johansson as our titular hero, Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, O-T Fagbenle as Rick Mason and Taskmaster. Of course, Taskmaster’s identity is being kept under Marvel lock and key.

Black Widow will follow Natasha Romanoff (Johansson) as she attempts to mend fences and face her past. Here’s the official synopsis per Marvel:
In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
Cate Shortland serves as the movie’s director. Eric Pearson wrote the script from a story by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson.
I, for one, am so pumped to finally get a Black Widow solo film. She has the most intriguing backstory out of the Avengers, in my humble opinion. Part of its intrigue is the mystery that enshrouds it. We don’t know much about Natasha or her past with the Red Room, but now we’re finally getting a glimpse behind the curtain.
You can take a gander at the new character posters below. Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, Rachel Weisz and Ray Winstone. Join Natasha on a road trip to the past when the movie soars into theaters and on Disney Plus Premier Access on Friday, July 9. Additional fees for Premier Access are required.
