New BLACK PANTHER Clip Shows Off Sleek Wakandan Tech

Black Panther is creeping closer and closer upon us. Currently one of the most anticipated films of the year – we have a lot to get excited for. Marvel released a brand new clip from the film, after it’s official debuting on The Ellen Show and we get to see some sweet Wakandan tech. And I mean sweet.

T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) has run into some problems. What kind of problems, we don’t know for sure, but it causes him to contact his sister in a panic. Then, a Lexus (woohoo sponsorship!) phases into focus. An excited Shuri (Letitia Wright) uses a remote driving system to take the Lexus out for a spin back home in Wakanda while T’Challa is in Korea. She’s able to drive the car without actually being in it, which solves the whole being shot at problem. Because bullets are hitting his suit, Shuri tells him the bullets have been creating kinetic energy in it – so he uses it to smash the pursued car.

Leaving the clip, I’m really curious to see how they explain how the suit works in tandem with the car. And how his suit just materializes on him. But I’m so excited to see more of Shuri. The younger sister of T’Challa is brilliant at tech and I cannot wait to see more of what she’s come up with. A producer has even called her “the smartest person in the world”, explicitly mentioning that she’s smarter than Tony Stark. Yes! To! That!
