Black Mirror Season 7

Your favorite sci-fi anthology series is returning for Season 7 on Netflix. To celebrate Black Mirror‘s impending release, the streamer unleashed a chilling new trailer, complete with the titles for all six episodes. 

Here’s a brief logline for the new season per Netflix: 

“Charlie Brooker’s dark, satirical anthology series will return in 2025 with six brand new episodes, including a sequel to the sci-fi adventure ‘USS Callister.'” Brooker, who launched Black Mirror in 2011 with the shocking and thought-provoking episode “The National Anthem,” executive produces alongside Jessica Rhoades and Annabel Jones.

The Cast

Black Mirror Season 7’s all-star cast includes Peter Capaldi, Paul Giamatti, Jimmi Simpson, Michele Austin, Harriet Walter,  Rashida Jones, Tracee Ellis Ross, Will Poulter, Chris O’Dowd, Billy Magnussen, Emma Corrin, Cristin Milioti, Awkwafina and Issa Rae.

Osy Ikhile, Asim Chaudhry, Siena Kelly, Patsy Ferran, Ben Bailey Smith, Paul G Raymond, Rosy McEwen, Lewis Gribben, Milanka Brooks, Michael Workeye, Amber Grappy, James Nelson Joyce, Josh Finan and Jay Simpson round out the roster. 

Episode Titles 

Kicking off this season of Black Mirror is “Common People,” which seemingly sees Rashida Jones’s character undergo a strange procedure from tech company Rivermind. The result? She’s a walking billboard, spouting off ads to those around her. The second episode, “Bête Noir,” follows one woman’s encounter with a terrifying, potentially artificial blonde woman.

Episode three, “Eulogy,” zeroes in on Paul Giamatti’s character after the passing of his wife. He uses technology that helps him relive and curate his fondest memories of her. Naturally, things go awry. Episode four, “Hotel Reverie,” sees Issa Rae’s character live in a movie, which takes a turn for the uncanny valley. “Plaything” stars Will Poulter and Peter Capaldi in a near-future London with an unusual video game from the ’90s. 

Finally, “USS Callister: Into Infinity,” the sequel to Black Mirror Season 4’s “USS Callister,” reunites us with Nanette Cole (Cristin Milioti) and the gang as they embark on their greatest challenge yet: playing in a deadly game with 30 million players versus their paltry crew of five people.
