Happy Holidays everyone. But, how long can happiness last, anyway? Well, for Black Mirror fans, it’ll most likely last about six episodes, for now. Season four’s final episode, U.S.S. Callister got it’s individual trailer on Tuesday. That’s right in line with the pattern Netflix has established, giving each episode in the six-part season a trailer. And, fans across the sci-fi genre should appreciate this one, as it references some time-honored space adventure. Hip Hip Hooray!

The last four episodic trailers have gone a little darker and then a little lighter, and then back again. This last trailer seems to be on the lighter side, but every facet of Black Mirror has proven at least a little dark underneath. The trailer for U.S.S. Callister is funny and creepy. And, those two things go together so well.
A new crew member arrives on the U.S.S. Callister, in a universe much like Star Trek (TOS). But, something is off. The loyal crew of the ship, and its Captain Daly (Jesse Plemons doing a very convincing suave Kirk type) are earnestly engaged in their melodramatic mission through space. Its new member (Cristin Milioti) is not so convinced.
