Here comes another trailer from Netflix for Black Mirror season four. Episode three, “Black Museum”, brings us a look at a desolate, privately owned gallery of terrible. As the proprietor says in the top of the trailer, ‘If it did something bad, chances are it’s in here.’
Black Museum, starring Douglas Hodge, Letitia Wright and Babs Olusanmokun, explores the human beings’ willingness to inflict pain and/or terror on oneself. An unsuspecting tourist finds herself in the desert at a macabre museum of ‘authentic criminological artifacts’. These attractions did terrible things to people, and they seem to have brought the pain they’ve inflicted with them, across time and space. The owner of the museum reveals his newest exhibit, and it opens the door to flashbacks and images of all manner of torture and mistreatment.
