HOLY CROW THAT’S A BIG SPOILER!
Be careful going forward here because there is a pretty big possible spoiler.
We say possible because this is simply a LEGO set. For all we know, they took all the creative license in the world and just threw this random bit in there to help them sell more toys — but we very highly doubt that.
Very. Highly.
That being said, priced forward with caution if you are sensitive to spoilers.
Thanks to our friends at Comic Book Movie for initially finding this, we have our first hint that we may see Scott Lang go from Ant-Man to Giant Man in Captain America: Civil War. And that hint comes, of course, in the way of LEGO’S. It’s always the LEGOS.
In the set, you can see a few different sets listed, including a couple from the Avengers: Assemble cartoon. However, the ones from Civil War seem to feature the fight with Crossbones and the Winter Soldier chase sequence with Captain America and Black Panther going after him.
But the BIG one is wha appears to be the airport scene that shows Iron Man fighting Captain America with Winter Soldier and Black Widow doing their best to keep Cap safe.
But then, THEN, there’s Giant Man. It’s been speculated for some time now that we’d see Scott Lang, played by Paul Rudd, take on the same direction his comic book counterpart did, being Ant-Man first and then realizing the powers can go both ways.
We’ve already seen them sort of do that in the Ant-Man film when we saw Thomas the Tank Engine and an ant get enbiggened.
Also, if you look closely at the art at the bottom, you can see that there’s also an Ant-Man which leads us to believe that maybe we see him small at first and THEN see him go all big on us.
