Oh, what a glorious morning! We hope it doesn’t make you sick, especially since your three favorite witch sisters from Hocus Pocus are reuniting for a one-night-only virtual event! Time to return to Salem, witches and warlocks.
Now, the event, entitled In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover, will bring Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker together to raise funds for the New York Restoration Project. Midler shared an image of our spooky sisters and a brief video clip ahead of her annual Hulaween fundraising gala on Instagram.

Our sisters are sporting their signature witchy frocks and elaborate hairdos in the image below. The video clip stars none other than Billy Butcherson himself, Doug Jones. Jones will also be joining the spellbinding fray for the event. In the clip, we see Jones undergoing his Billy makeup routine and looking positively deadly.
Tickets for the Hocus Pocus event cost $10, with all proceeds benefitting the NYRP’s ongoing efforts to “create more green spaces for underserved communities to grow their own food, connect and access safe spaces directly in their neighborhood.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, all three Sandersons have expressed interest in returning for a Hocus Pocus sequel. Whether or not said sequel will stay in development purgatory or witness the searing light of day remains to be seen. Personally, if I don’t get a Hocus Pocus sequel any time soon, then I say, “Amok, amok, amok!” Come on, Disney. You know you want to!
