We all have busy days when you just want to relax in front of the TV after a stressful week and watch your favorite movie marathon and do nothing else. So, if you’re looking forward to your lazy Sunday or your day off, we have reviewed only the best movie marathons that will make your day even more enjoyable.

BlackJack

BlackJack was developed by Shaun Micallef and Gary McCaffrey, and it is actually the title of a popular Australian film series that premiered on Network Ten in 2003 and ended in 2011. Fortunately, you can watch all of them at once in 2022. The first film follows detective Jack Kempson who has testified against his former colleagues in Sydney and then is assigned to enter old data from different cases in the police database.

One case captures his attention, and off the record, he starts an investigation that will; change his life into many unresolved cases and, curiously enough, realizes that blackjack does have important rules which might be crucial for him to crack the first case. So, if you’re a fan of crime and mystery movies, then this is the best movie marathon that will keep you at the edge of your seat.

Harry Potter

The Harry Potter franchise is widely known and loved by many worldwide, but there are still people, as odd as it sounds, that haven’t watched Harry Potter before. So, if you’re one of those people, this is the perfect time to binge-watch all the Harry Potter films.

Harry Potter is based on the popular novels by JK Rowling, and the films properly capture the magic of this world. Even if you’re not into fantasy films, you won’t find any Harry Potter film boring. Actually, some of the best directors in the industry have worked on the films, and everything from the cinematography to the atmosphere as well as the performance of the cast is impeccable.

The first film covers the first year of Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he meets his best friends Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) and tries to uncover the mysterious philosopher’s stone hidden in the school. But, what he doesn’t know is that the dark wizard Lord Voldemort who murdered his parents, is still trying to regain his power. Each subsequent film takes on a darker, more mature tone, especially after the 3rd film – Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Star Wars

This is presumably one of the most popular and influential film franchises out there with a sequel, prequel trilogy, and live-action and animated films. We recommend starting with the ordinal trilogy, while you should keep in mind that it will probably take you more than 24 hours to finish all of the movies from the Star Wars franchise. The original trilogy is focused on the Rebel Alliance that wants to win the war against the Galactic Empire, which rules the galaxy.

The alliance has stolen the plans for the Death Star, the Galactic Empire’s most powerful weapon, with the hopes of destroying the weapon. Luke Skywalker finds the hidden message of Princess Leia, the leader of the Rebel Alliance, and embarks on a dangerous adventure to help Leia and defeat Darth Vader.

James Bond

If you’re in the mood for some famous James Bond storylines and dangerous villains that want to take over the world, then pick your favorite James Bond, and voila, you’ve got yourself an action-packed movie marathon. Otherwise, there are total of 27 James Bond movies that you can watch, and whether you’re interested to see Sean Connery or Roger Moore, or even Daniel Craig, there are award-winning films with beautiful soundtracks and even more gorgeous scenery that will transport you in the James Bond universe.

However, if you want to do this right, then you can start the first James Bond movie, which takes you back to Dr. No, released in 1962. James Bond (Sean Connery) is on a super-secret mission to stop the mad scientist Dr. No who joined the criminal organization SPECTRE with the goal of ruining the American space program. So, whether you want to start from the very beginning or you’re more interested in particular James Bond like Pierce Bronson, for example, you have the opportunity to watch every James Bond film today.
