‘Tis the Witching season, which means a few things: clever costumes, horror movie marathons and a Halloween Parties. And, a Halloween party almost always equals drinks. Whether you are going to one or you need some pep in your step for those pesky trick-or-treaters, here are 15 mouthwatering cocktails guaranteed to make your night.

Hocus Pocus Halloween Fizz Drink Recipe

From Kara’s Party Ideas comes an enchanting drink to make your local witches sing. 

What you’ll need:

1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
1/4 teaspoon almond extract (or 1/2 cup rum)
1/4 teaspoon Imitation Coconut Extract
3 drops McCormick® Red Food Coloring
2 drops McCormick® Yellow Food Coloring
1 bottle Welches® sparkling white grape juice (or sparkling white wine)
Cranberries (optional)
2 tablespoons sugar
5 drops red food coloring
5 drops yellow food coloring

“Mix pineapple juice, almond extract, coconut extract and food coloring in a small picture or large measuring cup.
For each drink, pour 2 ounces pineapple juice mixture into beverage glass. Top with 4 ounces sparkling white grape juice.

How to Rim Glass with Orange-Tinted Sugar: Place 2 tablespoons sugar in small resealable plastic bag. Add 5 drops McCormick® Red Food Color and 5 drops Yellow Food Coloring. Seal bag. Knead sugar until the color is evenly distributed. Pour out onto shallow plate. Dip rim of beverage glass in water, then into Orange-tinted sugar to lightly coat.

To top it off, drop cranberries into the glass to float on top.”

Michael Myers’ “Haddonfield Milk Punch” – Halloween

What you’ll need:

2 oz Brandy
1 cup Whole Milk
1 teaspoon Confectioner’s Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Crushed ice
Splash of Grenadine
Honey
Food coloring
Candy knives

“Pour all ingredients except for Grenadine into cocktail shaker. Shake and set aside. Pour small amount of grenadine into bottom of empty tumbler, and pour milk punch mixture on top. Combine honey and food coloring to create fake edible blood, and use the mixture to attach a candy knife to the rim of the glass. And then RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!”

2 oz. Inniskillin Riesling Icewine

What you’ll need:
1-1/2 oz. coffee liqueur
4 oz. cold cola and ice

You’ll Float Too – IT

A cocktail a day keeps the sewer clowns away!

What you’ll need:
2 parts Maker’s Mark® Bourbon
1 part sweet vermouth
Orange bitters
Orange twist, for garnish

FOR THE CAMPARI ICE CUBES:
¾ part Campari
2 parts water

Several hours before serving, mix together Campari and water and freeze in a square ice mold. When frozen, make the cocktail: Place 2 Campari ice cubes in rocks glass. Pour all ingredients over ice cubes and garnish with a wide orange twist. Stir the drink to start the ice melting.

Witch Hat

What you’ll need:
2 ounces vodka
2 drops black food dye
1 ounce Chambord
2 ounces dark cherry juice
Ice
Simple syrup (equal parts water and sugar), to garnish
Crushed chocolate wafers, to garnish 

In a food processor, blitz the chocolate wafers until they become a fine, crushed powder. Dip the rim of a martini glass into a plate of simple syrup, and then roll the rim in the wafer powder to coat it. Set aside.

In a pint glass, combine the vodka with 1 to 2 drops of black food dye. Stir to combine. 

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the Chambord, cherry juice, and black vodka. Shake vigorously for approximately 20 seconds until well chilled. Strain the mixture into the garnished martini glass and serve.
