Ready Player One is coming out really soon and we’re excited! But one aspect about all the marketing that they haven’t really shown much of is Oasis. And I mean all the places that don’t involve the Easter Egg hunt. But in this new trailer, we get a glimpse at other places plus we finally get more from Art3mis/Samantha Cook (Olivia Cooke).

Some of the places in Oasis include beautiful beaches, snowy pyramids, and gathering places for so many characters I think it will take people years to find them all. For example, I saw a tiny little Hello Kitty with Bad Badtz-Maru and Keropie walking near Parzival/Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan). But I know I missed several more by seeing them. There also appears to be some sort of health station or a gaming station with wearable skins including Tracer from Overwatch. Also, there’s a pretty sweet dinosaur, right?

But enough about easter eggs! We get to see a lot more Art3mis in this than other trailers. We see her cockiness in her competition against Wade but also her more trusting side. Since the characters will meet in person before the very last competition, it will be interesting to see how they work together outside of the Oasis. And she seems rather more willing to help versus her book-counterpart so we’ll see!

The film is set in 2045, with the world on the brink of chaos and collapse. But the people have found salvation in the OASIS, an expansive virtual reality universe created by the brilliant and eccentric James Halliday (Mark Rylance). When Halliday dies, he leaves his immense fortune to the first person to find a digital Easter egg he has hidden somewhere in the OASIS, sparking a contest that grips the entire world. When an unlikely young hero named Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) decides to join the contest, he is hurled into a breakneck, reality-bending treasure hunt through a fantastical universe of mystery, discovery and danger.

Ready Player One enters theaters March 29th.
