The Trailer for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice finally hit and it was well worth the wait! The crowd at San Diego Comic Con got to see it up on the big screen, but at least the rest of us get to see it at all. Among some of the other revelations to come out of that panel are that, while Zack Snyder is certainly paying homage to Frank Miller a lot in the movie, this is not Dark Knight Returns. Also, when asked about the Batman suit, Snyder said, “It’s a self-preservation concept. It’s not giving him extra strength, but it’s buying him time.”
At that same panel, they let slip the fact that we’re not getting a Green Lantern movie, in 2020 — we’re getting a Green Lantern Corps movie! We’ve already started hearing rumors that Chris Pine and Tyrese are in the running to play Hal Jordan and John Stewart and this announcement just adds fuel to that fire.
