Warner Bros. Animation is doubling down on the gritty in a brand new trailer for the DC animated film Batman: The Long Halloween Part Two. The first film in the two-parter doesn’t release until June 22, 2021 and I am trying to be as patient as possible! But it looks like we won’t have to wait too long afterward to experience part two!

The Batman: The Long Halloween Part Two trailer teases an even darker road for Batman than the first part’s trailer. Things are tough in Gotham and it appears the Holiday Killer is still on the loose an entire year later. We are also introduced to a plethora of Batman’s most iconic villains, including Poison Ivy (voiced by Katee Sackhoff). I’ve got no doubt from this trailer and part one’s trailer that this will be one of the darkest Batman installments yet.

Batman: The Long Halloween stars Jensen Ackles, Troy Baker, Josh Duhamel, Naya Rivera, Billy Burke, Titus Welliver, David Dastmalchian, Amy Landecker, Julie Nathanson, Jack Quaid, Fred Tatasciore and Alastair Duncan. Director Chris Palmer and screenwriter Tim Sheridan will be returning for part two as well.

Batman: The Long Halloween Part Two will release on July 27, 2021, on digital and August 10, 2021, on Blu-ray. Check out the trailer below and let us know how excited you are to see this iconic story come to life on the animated screen! Want to read it before?
