The good people at Comicbook.com found some auditions for season two of the CW’s hit series, The Flash. As they note, it reveals that the character of Patty Spivot will be joining the cast as Detective Joe West’s new partner seeing as, you know, his other partner sacrificed himself to save the world.
Patty, if you don’t know, is a forensic scientist for Central City Police, starting off as Barry Allen’s assistant and then later becoming his girlfriend for a while. It’s safe to assume that we’ll see some sort of romance on the show start up between her and Allen. She also ends up stealing the tech of an alternate version of the Flash, called “Hot Pursuit,” and going on a series of her own adventures.
The videos have been taken down since the article was put up, but the site offers a could descriptions. The first video is between Patty and Det. Joe West with her “telling him that she can be trusted even though she is still getting used to meta-humans.” The second clip is between Patty and Barry with Patty “gushing” about all the detail Barry puts into his crime reports.
