Bad Guys Beware in New WONDER WOMAN 1984 Picture

Never go up against Wonder Woman!

Thanks to Total Film (via GamesRadar), we have a brand new image from Wonder Woman 1984. It shows our favorite Themysciran warrior (played by Gal Gadot) holding two bad guys by the wrist, holding them to justice. Likely with guns in their hands, they appear to be the terrorists shooting up a mall that we’ve seen glimpses at in the trailer. We still don’t know why they’ve decided to target the mall or why they’re shooting people in the first place. Perhaps hires of Max Lord (Pedro Pascal)?

As we’ve previously learned, Diana is living a low-profile life in Washington D.C., working at a museum. She’s been able to keep her identity hidden since the first World War (over 70 years!), so it will be interesting to see how she’s able to combat modern technology while keeping her identity safe. So for her to show herself in public like this must mean this is a very big deal. Just how deep does this plot go? There’s so many questions from this one image!

Wonder Woman 1984 is directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Jenkins, Geoff Johns and David Callaham. The film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde, Natasha Rothwell, Soundarya Sharma, and Kristoffer Polaha with Connie Nielson and Robin Wright. The film storms into theaters on June 5th, 2020.
