Avatar: The Last Airbender WEBTOON Original Series.

Our first series this week should come as no surprise – Dark Horse Comics’ Avatar: The Last Airbender. Set in the time between the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, the WEBTOON series follows the events after the Hundred Year War. Avatar Aang, Zuko, Sokka, Katara and Toph work together to heal the Four Elemental Nations as they uncover secrets of the past, take on new foes and make new friends.

Whether you have just fallen into the rabbit hole of Avatar: The Last Airbender or have been a longtime fan, you can not pass up this WEBTOON series. We are only a few chapters in, but the series captures what we love within the franchise. Who doesn’t want to learn more about the time in between? We promise: Just one chapter and this will become a must-read every single week.

Avatar: The Last Airbender updates every Saturday and can be read here!

Just a Goblin WEBTOON Original Series.

Keeping up with the fantasy action WEBTOON series, our second pick this week is Brandon Chen, Jksmanga and Inuupen‘s Just a Goblin. The series follows Nog, a goblin inventor, who unlocks the ability to “level up.” With this newfound strength and confidence, he sets off to answer why, for centuries, adventurers have been slaughtering monsters for sport and hunting his people for their body parts and linens. Is it possible for the two sides to live in peace?

Chances are, if you have played a fantasy RPG video or tabletop game, you have spent some time slaying goblins and other monsters. But have you ever thought why? Or wondered if that goblin had a family? If you haven’t, you will after checking out Just a Goblin. The fantasy action series is packed with excitement, terrific world-building, and a story you won’t be able to avoid. Don’t blame us if your future RPG characters don’t want to harm goblins.

Just a Goblin update every Thursday and can be read here!
