Male Eivor getting running in to attack in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Ubisoft has dropped a new trailer for the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and this time it focuses heavily on the male version of the viking raider Eivor. The man known as Wolf-Kissed is both an orphan and brother, as well as a warrior and poet. But he is torn between the loyalty to his brother, Sigurd, and his personal quest and ultimate goal for glory. When Sigurd returns with new gifts and friends, it is made clear that Evior’s clan can not stay in Norway. Their presence is fueling wars with those around them. Sigurd and Eivor take their clan to the isle of England.

But carving out their own kingdom in England is harder than it seems. After making landfall, the brothers find England to be overrun by multiple rulers. These men have no intention of sharing their lands and power. Eivor shares in a monologue that these men do not scare him. England is a chance of hope for his people. A chance to start a new life and make a true home for his clan. Of course, these conquests aren’t the only thing for Eivor in England. The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla trailer closes with some ominous news about an unknown threat that, if left unchecked, will change England’s destiny forever.

This trailer is by far my favorite so far for the series. Ubisoft never fails to deliver when it comes to their story trailers. I have an uneasy feeling about the brothers. The trailer heavily focuses on the relationship between the two. It almost screams that they will come to blows later in the story. I just hope that, if it happens, we have enough hatred for him that it won’t make me feel like such a terrible sibling. Regardless of how the brotherly love plays out, the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla trailer does everything right to build up the hype.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will hit PC through the Ubisoft store, Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X on November 10, 2020. It will release on PlayStation 5 on November 12, 2020.
