Aussie Matt Nable will be playing bad guy and head of The League of Assassins, Ra’s al Ghul in Season 3 of Arrow on CW. Arrow watchers are already familiar with al Ghul’s daughter, Nyssa al Ghul played by Katrina Law.
DC fans know Ra’s al Ghul as he is a big enemy of Batman, in fact the character was played by Liam Neeson in Batman Begins. Ra’s al Ghul is the leader of the League of Assassins and the father of Nyssa al Ghul. Proud and unforgiving, Ra’s is a ruthless strategist, a master of martial arts and a shaper of history. He carries the wisdom of the ages and protects some of its greatest secrets.
