Exciting ARCANE Season 2 Soundtrack Details Unveiled

The Music of Piltover/Zaun

Music is a major story element in the Arcane series. It’s theme song, “Enemy” by Imagine Dragons featuring JID has grown to anthemic status among fans of the series and League of Legends players. The soundtrack to Season 1 has been streamed over 5.6 billion times since November 2021. It maintains a listening audience of twelve million monthly listeners.

The Season 2 soundtrack is comprised of artists from all over the world. Each track is an original composition exclusive to the album and crafted specifically for pivotal moments in the second season. Many of the artists involved are LoL players, fans of Arcane, and previous Riot Games collaborators.

Maria Agen, Global Head of Music at Riot Games explains, “Arcane’s groundbreaking approach to music inspired an incredibly diverse group of artists from many genres, languages, and cultures who wanted to be part of this new season. We also wanted to represent the global reach of League of Legends by working with artists from all around the world. Each song was a unique collaboration between the artists, our showrunners, and Riot’s composers. Music is the heartbeat of the League community and we can’t wait for our fans to experience this epic album to deepen their connection to these powerful stories.

The Track List for Arcane Season 2

Arcane Season 2’s soundtrack is absolutely stacked with talented and diverse musicians. Their enthusiasm for the project extends beyond their individual tracks to the bigger picture of the show itself. Many shared their deep emotional investment in the series and how they hope their contributions will add to the world they’ve come to love.

Tyler Joseph of Twenty One Pilots shared that Season 1 inspired him with its central theme of family, “… and how music contributed to bringing that to life within the world of Arcane.” Meanwhile, Stray Kids describes their song, “Come Play,” as having “a dynamic taste… bringing all sorts of voices and languages together.”

Along with the new trailer (above) that dropped on September 5, the anticipation for Arcane Season 2 is reaching a fevered pitch. As tracks from the soundtrack are released, we can only imagine how this tale of two sisters and two cities will resolve itself.
