Dead Island 2

We may be over zombies on television, but we will never be over zombies in video games. This is why we can’t wait to dive into Deep Silver Dambuster Studio’s Dead Island 2. When a deadly virus spreads across Los Angeles, those left “alive” are surrounded by other terrifying zombies. It’s your job to uncover the truth behind the outbreak and discover who you are.

Dead Island 2 drops on April 21, 2023, for PC through Epic Game Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

Minecraft Legends

Following the smash success of Minecraft Dungeons in 2020, another spinoff of Minecraft is coming, titled Minecraft Legends. Discover the lush biomes filled with treasures and perils, meet new friends, and reunite with familiar mobs. Lead your friends and face the piglins in intense battles – but be warned: they always fight back.

Minecraft Legends drops on April 18, 2023, for PC through Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and the Nintendo Switch.

The Last Case of Benedict Fox

Did you think we wouldn’t include a Lovecraftian-inspired metrovania-style video game on our most anticipated list? The Last Case of Benedict Fox comes to us from Plot Twist and Rogue Games and looks downright incredible. Players will take on the last case of Benedict Fox and explore a twisted world of secret organizations, forbidden rituals and cold-blooded murders.

The Last Case of Benedict Fox releases on April 27, 2023, for PC through Steam and Xbox Series X/S.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

We also have the sequel to Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts’ Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to look forward to. Set after a five-year time skip, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a third-person, narrative-driven action-adventure game that follows the story of Cal Kestis seeking out a safe haven far from the reach of the Empire. I hope to see more variation in the combat style and a greater mastery of the Force.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releases on April 28, 2023, for PC on Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Bramble: The Mountain King

With so many video games dropping in April, we wanted to explore a title that felt and looked unique. This is why we fell in love with Dimforst Studio and Merge Games Bramble: The Mountain King. It is a grim adventure in a dark world inspired by Nordic fables. Players will explore Bramble’s beautiful yet dangerous world to rescue their sister.

Bramble: The Mountain King drops on April 27, 2023, for PC through Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and the Nintendo Switch.

Tin Hearts

Let your inner child celebrate with Rogue Sun and Wired Productions’ Tin Hearts. Players will enter this magical world and guide a troop of tin soldiers through a toy-filled world. Gameplay features immersive narrative puzzles within a story-rich world. We can’t wait to challenge ourselves and explore.

Tin Hearts drops on April 20, 2023, for PC through Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch.
