The Marvel/Disney hype train for Ant-Man, the last film of Marvel’s Phase-Two, has left officially the station in the form of an over-sized Thomas the Tank Engine.

We’ve got over twenty TV spots for Marvel’s next big film and now they are releasing clips, all in an attempt to educate the public and get them to come out and see a film that the general public has been a bit dubious about from day one — “A man that shrinks to the size of an ant and can… talk to ants?”

It’s weird and it’s silly and so far all the tweeted reviews of the film seem to confirm that it is those things in the best way possible. So it makes sense that Marvel and Disney are cranking out the publicity, trying to show us that weird and silly is equal to fun, funny and awesome.

Here we’ve got a clip of Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang learning how to use the suit’s shrinking power to run through a key hole. Michael Douglas, as Hank Pym, the suit’s creator, tells him, “the suit has power, the man harnesses that power,” going on to say, “You should be able to shrink and grow on a dime, so your size always suits your needs.”

But, of course, with Paul Rudd, this is not a simple task.
