Ant-Man Found It’s Director, Oh Wait, No They Didn’t

Adam McKay (Gary Sanchez Productions) was in talks today with the Marvel elite about directing Ant-Man. The internet has been abuzz since last night with the fact that it would be McKay that would replace Edgar Wright as the director of the film.

Then comes the tweet. THE tweet from Adam McKay.

The Hollywood Reporter says, “Talks began with McKay in earnest on Friday but the director abruptly decided against taking the job. The decision is said to be his alone.”

I don’t know what’s more interesting. The fact that Marvel can’t find a director for Ant-Man or that Adam McKay has a picture of Eddie Rabbit as his thumbnail on twitter. “I love the rainy night.”
