Marvel is ramping up its promotion of Ant-Man and The Wasp in recent weeks. We’ve gotten a few looks at the movie so far, and it looks as fun as we had hoped. The first two trailers focused on the action, the danger, The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), and Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen). All are worthy subjects, but a new TV spot released Saturday has full focus on funny. And, it’s getting us even more excited for the movie.

The spot gives us some action, but it’s action we’ve seen. The new stuff is all in the banter. Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and The Wasp discuss how Ghost might just have an odd way of showing affection. We get to see Rudd in his 65-foot form make a joke that’s hilarious to us… not so funny for people aboard the boat below him. And, there are some great moments for Louis (Michael Pena). He gets a meme-worthy introduction with an outdated reference to ‘What’s Uuuuuuuuup!’ and his request for his own place in super hero history at the end of the trailer is laugh-out-loud funny.

It’s nice to have a fun palette cleanser while we process the carnage of Avengers: Infinity War. Check it out.

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: “Ant-Man and The Wasp.” In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.

Ant-Man and The Wasp flies into theaters July 6th.
