Marvel Studios dropped the official trailer and poster for Scott Lang’s return to our lives! Disney has described the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as an epic sci-fi adventure, and we just can’t wait to dive in. This is the official kick-off for phase five (yes, you heard us right) and is the perfect way to get us excited and give us a look at what is to come.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania‘s first trailer opens as Scott (Paul Rudd) gets back into the groove of things. The ex-con turned Avenger is finally getting the recognition he deserves. Now, if only people would stop thinking he was Spider-Man. But the world still needs protecting. And not just our world, but the Quantum Realm as well. Cassie (Kathryn Newton) shows off some new tech to help with that. But, of course, nothing goes as planned.

And this is where the trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania shifts. Scott, Cassie, Hope (Evangeline Lilly), Hank (Michael Douglas) and Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer) find themselves being pulled into the Quantum Realm, and we get flashes of the world that exists within. There are new creatures and areas it seems our heroes will be exploring. And then, we get a look at one of phase five’s big villains, Kang (Jonathan Majors).

Except, the trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania doesn’t make him look like a villain. We know he is, but the way he is reaching out to Scott almost makes it feel like he is trying to do something good. Or use Ant-Man as a way to get what he wants. It will be interesting to see where they take his character and what he asks of Scott. Also, what secret has Janet been hiding from Hope? We’ve got a lot of questions, and we are sure to get answers when the film hits theaters.
