The Castle Rock season two full trailer is here just a few weeks ahead of the premiere on Hulu. And misery loves company. Lizzy Caplan stars as a young Annie Wilkes searching for a place to call home.
The trailer opens with Annie and her daughter Joy (Elsie Fisher) moving to town. Annie wants her daughter to have a better life, but she’s running from something. Pop Merrill (Tim Robbins) knows Annie has a dark side. He knows other secrets as well. He says Castle Rock has a dark history that people tend to forget. Those ghosts appear to be messing with Annie.
There’s also a war going on between the Merrills and people from a neighboring town, Jerusalem’s Lot. What is this war about? Ace Merrill (Paul Sparks) looks like he is after something and will get rid of anyone who stands in his way. Is Annie one of those people? There’s lots of blood, lots of ghosts and the crazy thing is, it might all be in Annie’s head.
Castle Rock also stars Barkhad Abdi, Yusra Warsama, Robin Weigert, Matthew Alan and Greg Grunberg. It’s based on stories and characters created by Stephen King.
Castle Rock season two debuts on Wednesday, October 23 on Hulu. Check out the trailer below.
