Wersching recently gained Trekkie attention for her portrayal of the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard Season 2. After the character’s debut in the second episode of the season, “Penance,” she became increasingly crucial to the plot. In particular, in “Two of One,” the character teamed up with Agnes Jurati (Alison Pill) for a show-stopping performance of “Shadows of the Night.”

However, that wasn’t the actor’s first performance in the Star Trek universe. Her first credited role was on Star Trek: Enterprise, in the 2002 Season 1 episode “Oasis.” In this episode, she appeared alongside another actor with additional Trek experience, René Auberjonois (Odo on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine).

Her acting experience was not limited to the Trek universe. Additionally, Wersching appeared as a guest star on dozens of shows, including Supernatural and Boston Legal. She also featured as a recurring character on shows like General Hospital (Amelia Joffe) and Runaways (Leslie Dean). Notably, Wersching recurred on the much-beloved sci-fi series Timeless as Emma Whitmore. Among her most well-known performances was a role on 24 (Renee Walker). Her resume also included video games, appearing as Tess in 2013’s The Last of Us and Tassyn in 2019’s Anthem.

Wersching is survived by her three children, Freddie, Ozzie and Archie, and her husband, Stephen Full.

Geek Girl Authority sends our condolences to her family and friends and celebrates this talented actor’s scene-stealing performances.
