Updated on:

Posters for Demon Slayer Season 3 Love Hashira, Tanjiro and Mist Hashira, three anime releasing in April 2023.

Welcome to part two of the April installment of GGA’s monthly anime roundup for 2023, where we give you a detailed list of what anime is coming your way. This month kicks off the spring anime season and is packed with new offerings to fill your watch time. With so many new shows releasing in April, we’ve split this list into two parts. Part one covered the first week of April, and this list covers the rest of the month.

Remember that due to the Funimation/Crunchyroll merger, there is no new anime debuting on Funimation. Funimation will continue to add episodes of current shows, but the new series will air exclusively on Crunchyroll. We will miss Funimation, but as we look to the future, we have everything you should be watching here.

Catch the out-of-this-world romance on Crunchyroll starting April 8.

Asahi Ikusaba is an ordinary high school boy accidentally transported to a magical fantasy world. Asahi is ready to have a good time using his knowledge of games and stories to thrive in this new world. Still, it turns out that his skills are entirely too weak, especially compared to his elder sister, who arrived in the new world with the most powerful cheat skills imaginable. My One-Hit Kill Sister will be simulcasting on Crunchyroll starting April 8.

Summoned to Another World…Again?! – April 8

This is the story of a crazy journey in another world where a former hero who was reincarnated into a slightly gloomy high school student is “resummoned” back to that same world! He’ll be even more epic the second time. Summoned to Another World…Again?! debuts (for the first time) on Crunchyroll beginning April 8.

Dead Mount Death Play – April 10

It’s a showdown for the ages as the legendary hero takes on the corpse god necromancer, but when the dust settles, something isn’t right. Eunha Park thought she was getting another chance at life when she awoke in the world of a novel. The only problem? Raeliana McMillan, the character she was reborn as, is fated to be killed by her fiancé. For the sake of her survival, she comes up with an idea—get into a fake marriage with a man more powerful than her groom-to-be. I’m a sucker for stories set in the Regency era, so you know I’ll be watching Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion once we get a release date for Crunchyroll.

Kawaisugi Crisis (Too Cute Crisis) – April 2023

Finally, the next time a cat tries to adopt you, let it. You never know when that magnanimous feline will end up saving the world. Kawaisugi Crisis (Too Cute Crisis) will start simulcasting sometime this month on HIDIVE. We have no official source for the trailer at this time.

April is so jammed packed with offerings that it will be hard to decide where to start! What are you adding to your watch list to kick off the 2023 spring anime season? Any predictions for your returning favorite? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
