Marvel announced another addition to the upcoming Black Panther stand alone film. Angela Bassett will play Ramonda, mother of T’Challa (Black Panther). Black Panther made his movie debut this past summer in Captain America: Civil War.
Bassett has kept busy in recent years appearing in American Horror Story television series, earning Emmy nominations in both 2014 and 2015. She joins Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba.
The more information we get about the movie, the better it looks. This cast is spectacular, just look at it! I can’t wait, is it 2018 yet? Black Panther is scheduled to hit theaters on February 16, 2018.
